The second planned event is a Gaza Soccer Cup Tournament and Carnival at two clubs, featuring a 10-team soccer tournament with both local and general community clubs. This event will include a workshop on the Gaza conflict, 2-hour soccer tournament and a traditional Middle Eastern barbecue with music and dancing. Women’s morning teas are also planned to empower these women to support other Gazans in their communities. Participants in the program will benefit from increased social and community participation, a sense of belonging and improved well-being, improved access to local information and understanding of local systems and services, such as culturally sensitive mental health support, and ongoing opportunities to develop English language skills. A series of community gathering activities, including picnics and outings, will be organised to bring participants, volunteers and broader community together. |

The role includes managing logistics and supporting a General Practitioner Triage Team to ensure continued access to necessary and prompt medical services. |
Bachar Houli Foundation Ltd | Responding to the impacts of Islamophobia at the intersectionality of becoming a young female Muslim adult | National | Under the Bachar Houli Foundation Ltd.’s Senior Girls Leadership Program delivered in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, a 12-month national girls leadership program focusing on physical and mental health, leadership development, and building confidence will be rolled out. The program will commence with a seven-day national camp held in Calder in regional Victoria which will include workshops facilitated by senior female leaders and mentors to challenge participants mentally and physically.
